Lorentz Lyceum is located in Arnhem. The school was founded in 1867, and is named after the Dutch physicist and Nobel Prize winner, Hendrik Antoon Lorentz. Lorentz attended the school as a pupil and returned later as a teacher.

The school offers regular secondary education programmes in Dutch as well as a bilingual programme (Dutch – English). Part of the school building is reserved for the Arnhem International School. The unique combination of an international school within a Dutch school offers students the best of both worlds.
