The John F Kennedy School of Berlin is an American-German public school with over 1700 multicultural students in grades K-12. Most JFK students speak both English and German fluently and come from a very diverse background.

At JFK, there is a very large range of activity options appealing to students with all sorts of interests. Many of these clubs and organizations were founded by and are led by students.  Some of these activities include:

  • Haywire, a biannual literary and art magazine publishing students' original work.

  • The Muckraker, our student newspaper for the past 18 years.

  • The Cambodia project, dedicated to helping out those in need.

  • Quizbowl, a team activity that challenges students to test their knowledge against each others'.

  • The AIDS flag football tournament, put on each year by the tenth graders to raise money to help fight the disease.

  • BERMUN (Berlin Model United Nations), which hosts a conference at the school every year.
